Tenerife – The Island of Eternal Spring

Tenerife is often called the island of eternal spring, thanks to its mild climate throughout the year. Its uniqueness lies in its microclimates – you can experience sunshine, clouds, and mist all in a single day.

The island is a natural wonder, featuring volcanoes, black-sand beaches, green forests, and mountains.

Parks, Wildlife & Ocean Views

During my visit in September 2024, I explored both Loro Parque and Siam Park, where the water slides were absolutely wild. I also went whale and dolphin watching, visited Monkey Park, and relaxed in La Caleta and Los Gigantes, with their striking cliffs and black beach.

Masca, Natural Pools & Sunset Nights

The highlight was hiking in Anaga Rural Park, surrounded by greenery and sea views. I also discovered the beautiful mountain village of Masca and swam in the natural pools of Garachico.

Evenings in Playa de las Américas were ideal for going out and enjoying the island’s lively atmosphere.

Barcelona – The City of Art and Sea

In September 2025, I explored Barcelona’s vibrant culture, seaside charm, and stunning architecture, with a few breaks for siesta, of course.

I visited Gaudí’s masterpieces such as the Sagrada Família, Park Güell, and Casa Batlló, wandered through the Gothic Quarter, took a boat tour, and rode the cable car up to Montjuïc Castle for views over the city and sea.

Barcelona also offered some of the best food I have tried, from simple tapas to fresh seafood by the coast.
