Springtime in Amiens

In the spring of 2017, as a pharmacy student, I spent a few days in Amiens on a student exchange programme. The city, known for the Amiens Cathedral – one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in France – and its scenic canals, had a calm and pleasant atmosphere; it was a lovely place to explore and meet other students.

We also tried raclette, a traditional melted cheese dish served with potatoes and bread.

Paris in a Day

We took a day trip to Paris, saw some of its famous landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Sacré-Cœur Basilica, and took a boat ride on the Seine, passing by many of the city’s beautiful bridges and historic buildings. The atmosphere was lively and full of charm, just as one would imagine Paris to be.

On the last day, I visited Disneyland Paris, where I watched the 25th anniversary celebration with light shows and music – a wonderful way to end the trip.
